It is with a heavy heart, I must announce the instant and permanent closure of SYNK Hosting.

I really wished it wouldn't have to come to this, but due to serious threats from a customer, and subsequent impact mental health since these threats were communicated. I deeply sympathise with anyone that may find this announcement saddening. I just cannot put my mental health and network stability at risk.

Some other reasons on top of the other are:

- Threats to personal safety
- Threats of continued DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks
- Threats of false serious 999 reports (also known as "swatting"), which may result in harm to myself and my family

These threats were first communicated via Telegram when SYNK Hosting's VPS service was knocked offline due to a power outage in my area. I could not do anything about this as I was away at another family members house. For 3 hours, I conversed back and forth trying to explain what happened. This put quite a lot of stress on me which impacted my mental health severely. Another time was when my server was facing memory issues, every second trying to fix this was met with more threats of "swatting", DDoS attacks, etc.

Thank you to everyone that was not like this during downtimes. I deeply am grateful for the continued support during the hosts closure and operation. No refunds will be given during this time (as stated in our Terms of Service, which were deleted writing this message under section 6.5). All data has been securely deleted and cannot be recovered/requested.
